1 killed in crash of three 18-wheelers in Mississippi

Mississippi authorities say one driver is dead after a wreck involving three 18-wheelers on Interstate 10 near the Diamondhead exit. The first truck, driven by Peak, hit a semi driven by 59-year-old Razmik Khachikyan, of Panorama City, California, who was uninjured. The Mississippi Highway Patrol says a preliminary investigation revealed two of the trucks were rear-ended in a domino effect about 4:38 p.m. Khachikyan's truck rear-ended a tanker driven by 65-year-old Roger Eppler, of Jasper, Texas. Hancock County Chief Deputy Don Bass tells The Sun Herald the driver who died was trapped inside one of the trucks as it caught on fire Monday.
