Hit and run leaves Babbitt teen with serious injuries

Tower, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- A 17-year-old from Babbitt was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries following a hit and run crash near Tower, Minnesota. The crash happened on Highway 169 just after 10 Monday morning. The Minnesota State Patrol says the teen was struck from behind by an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, sending his Dodge Avenger into coming traffic. His car was then struck in the side by a Chevy Silverado pickup Truck, causing the teen's car to roll over onto its roof. The State Patrol says they have not yet found the driver of the Oldsmobile.
