One Killed in Floodwood Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says one person was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Floodwood on Wednesday morning. The patrol says the Ford F150 pickup was northbound on State Highway 73 when it ran off the road near U.S. Highway 2. Louis County Sheriff's Office assisted the State Patrol at the scene. Man dies after crashing vehicle in river

One man has died after crashing his truck into a river Wednesday morning. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident happened shortly before seven Wednesday morning near Highway Two on Highway 73 in Floodwood. Officers say the man ran his truck off the road. When authorities arrived on scene the majority of the truck was above water. The vehicle is considered to be a complete loss.
