Teen was on Facebook before deadly crash in Clinton Township

The 17-year-old was coming home from work Saturday and posting to Facebook as he drove. At 1:46 p.m. he posted that he still had to go back for the night shift. At 1:50 p.m. he posted, "Truth is .. will do all." His brother said Sean sent a private message at 1:52 p.m. and then at 1:53 p.m. there was a 911 call reporting the crash on Metro Parkway.

Teen dies in single-car accident in Clinton Township

Clinton Township police are still investigating after a teen died in a single-car accident Saturday afternoon. It happened around 1:53 p.m. on westbound 16 Mile Road close to Garvin St., which is just east of Groesbeck Highway.

Clinton Township Teen Dies In Single-Car Rollover Accident

The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. on 16 Mile Rd. near Garvin Street. According to police, the teenage boy was traveling on westbound 16 Mile when he lost control of his burgundy 1999 Jeep. The vehicle overturned on the roadway as he tried to regain control.
