Man who police say torched own minivan following fatal hit-and-run charged
Police discovered 65-year-old John E. Henke dead in his vehicle near Lake Elizabeth and Preston in Waterford Township about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26.
"Vehicle debris at the scene indicated he had been struck in the roadway," police said in a statement. "The responsible driver (or) vehicle had fled the scene."
