Victims names revealed in fatal Easthampton accident

The names of those two people killed in Thursday accident on Route 5 have been released by the Easthampton Police Department. Edward McGrath, 62, of Holyoke and his daughter Brittney McGrath, 29, of Brooklyn, NY, were both killed when they were struck by an SUV.

Man in custody for Thursday’s deadly accident

James Walter Ainsworth, 45, of Springfield, has been arrested and charged with two counts of felony motor vehicle homicide in connection with Thursday afternoon’s fatal collision on Route 5 in Easthampton, in which two people riding a motorcycle were killed.
