1 dead after car rear-ends tractor-trailer on Mass Pike

State police say the tractor-trailer was traveling west when the truck driver, for reasons under investigation, used the emergency turnaround to change directions and head east.

Man killed in crash on Mass Pike in Blandford identified

Hampden County District Attorney's Office spokesperson Jim Leydon identified the victim as 61-year-old Donald Payne, of Shrewsbury.
