Christopher Weisz, 42, of Bedford, was operating a 1987 BMW K-100 RS motorcycle when he was struck by a Subaru Impreza and thrown from the bike. He was taken to Lahey Clinic in Burlington Thursday morning where he was pronounced dead.

Chris Weisz was killed when DeWolfe, who had a history of drunk driving convictions, allegedly smashed her Saab into another car, pushing it into Weisz riding home from work on his motorcycle. Prosecutors said she took off, and later told police she’d taken Lorazepam and pain medication.

The judge sentenced DeWolfe to 3-5 years in state prison followed by 10 years probation with 50 hours of community service each year. She will not be able to drive for 15 years.
