A pedestrian died after an alleged hit and run in Plymouth Thursday morning.

Police say the pedestrian crash occurred in the area of Lunn’s Way and Garrett Place around 8 a.m.

Man Arraigned in Hit-and-Run that Killed Woman and Her Dog
Thirty-nine-year-old Timothy LaPierre pleaded not guilty Friday to motor vehicle homicide and leaving the scene of an accident during his arraignment in Plymouth District Court.
A 69-year-old woman identified as Marjorie Cochrane was out for a walk with her dog when she was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. She sustained serious injuries and was found lying in the street, with her dog dead nearby. A medical helicopter flew her to Boston Medical Center where she later died. Police have asked for the public's help in locating the driver. The vehicle is believed to have front end and windshield damage.
