Police Search For Driver In Milford After Hit And Run Kills Child

Police confirm that they are searching for a suspect in a fatal hit and run in Milford.

According to officials, the victim of the Water Street crash was a small child.

Police have identified the child as Jonathan Loga of Framingham, Massachusetts who was at a family Easter party when he exited the yard.

She was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash after causing injuries that resulted in a death. She was also charged with misleading a police investigation.

Melissa Knight pleaded not guilty Friday to leaving the scene of a fatal accident and misleading police.

The Telegram & Gazette reports that 54-year-old Melissa Knight was arraigned Thursday in Worcester Superior Court. She pleaded not guilty to charges of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and withholding evidence.
