Good Samaritan ends up in Monocacy River trying to help I-70 crash victims

The nurse who was driving eastbound on I-70 when she stopped to help with the crash on the westbound span.

Police say the nurse jumped the wall believing there was a median on the other side. Instead, she fell 100 feet to 200 feet to the river below.

Police say the nurse and the dump truck driver were flown to a trauma center in Baltimore. Details of their conditions weren’t available.
