Several injured in MTA bus crash in NE Baltimore

Fire officials said there were about 35-40 people on the MTA bus, 15 of whom refused treatment and were released from the scene.

Four people, three from the bus and one from one of the vehicles, were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Firefighters say more than a dozen people were injured, and many were taken to area hospitals in another bus. Authorities say none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

The crash occurred about 2:20 p.m. on the Outer Loop of I-495 near Route 450, in the Lanham area, police said. Video footage shot from Chopper4 shows three cars with significant damage.
