A 70-year-old bicyclist is dead after cycling into a pickup truck being driven by an off-duty New Orleans police officer late Sunday night in Central City.
A 70-year-old bicyclist was hit and killed in a fatal accident involving an off-duty NOPD officer in Central City, Louisiana. The accident occured at South Claiborne Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The officer was not impaired at the time of the crash. Many in the biking community say the intersection needs better biking infrastructure.
