The driver of the truck, James Rodgers, 25, of San Jacinto, and a rear-seat passenger, Wanda Kinchloe, 58, of Hemet, were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Ascension Parish Coroner’s Office, said Trooper First Class Bryan Lee, a spokesman for the State Police.
