State police say at least two people survived the crash. One was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, and one to UK Hospital.

"It's an awful tragedy that this happened, and all we need right now are prayers for her family,"Denney said. Denney has set up a Go-Fund-Me account to help the surviving members of the family in this tough time.

Friends also took up a donation for the two men in the truck that survived the crash. A GoFundMe account has raised more than a thousand dollars so far for the family members left behind.

Six people were killed in a two-vehicle collision between a car and a pickup truck in south central Kentucky on Friday shortly before 6 p.m. on KY 90, about 3.5 miles west of Monticello in Wayne County. The roadway was shut down during the crash investigation.
