Interstate 71 reopens after dozens of pigs get loose in rollover crash
The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes between Kentucky Route 14 and U.S. Route 127 in Gallatin County. The tractor-trailer involved was carrying about 150 hogs. A fuel spill was also reported in the crash.

YTC reported a jackknifed tractor-trailer between mile markers 64 and 66 north of Sparta around 3:25 p.m.
All northbound lanes have reopened. One southbound lane is open, according to Gallatin County Dispatch.
Dispatch confirms that around 145 pigs were on the loose due to the crash.

Scott Milner was driving the tractor-trailer when he said a blue car tried to pass him on the left, overcorrected, hit the wire guides and t-boned him. His trailer tipped over and the pigs spilled out onto the roadway.
