Car plunges into Ohio River after bridge crash
Ryan Watts, spokesman for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, says rescue efforts are still underway. It is unknown how many people were inside the car when it toppled from the Combs-Hehl Bridge, which carries Interstate-275 from Campbell County, Kentucky, to Cincinnati.
The Central Campbell County Fire Department and other law enforcement agencies are on scene leading the water rescue efforts.

Update: Authorities locate car that fell into Ohio River
Police closed Eastbound I-275 at the bridge which crosses into Ohio at Kellogg Avenue around 4:45 p.m. Initial scanner reports indicated a red vehicle with three passengers entered the Ohio River. Authorities have located the vehicle in the river and are currently working to recover it.

The Boone County Water Rescue Team was called to the scene to conduct a search and recovery for possible passengers. They were able to locate the vehicle, but no passengers were found.
