Final report released on fatal FlightSafety crash

The final report on the crash has now been released by the NTSB. It says the pilot reported left engine failure shortly after takeoff. Surveillance video shows the last nine seconds of flight. The report doesn't show a real cause of the crash, besides the engine issue.

Upon takeoff, witnesses from a Cessna Service Center on the west side of the runway where the plane took off, "indicated that the airplane then porpoised several times before making a left turn ... barely cleared the top of a hangar on the west side of runway 1R, and then descended into a building," the report said.

A twin-engine Beechcraft King Air reported losing power just after takeoff and struck the Flight Safety Building while trying to return to the airport. It's unclear how many passengers were onboard the aircraft, but at least 4 people are dead. There may have been up to 200 people in the building at the time of the crash. The pilot of the craft was identified as Mark Goldstein, 53. Check back for updates!
