Child dies, parents injured in vehicle crash on S. Rock Rd.

Police said at first it was believe ice on the roadway caused the crash. However, since no ice was found by investigators the cause of the crash is still being looked into.

One dead, two injured in vehicle crash on S. Rock Rd.

Police at the scene say the child was two to three years old and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred in the 4500 block of S. Rock Rd. shortly before 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

The 23-month-old child, identified as Tessa Ann Wilson, died. Tessa was passenger in the car driven by 28-year-old Caitlin V. Wilson. Caitlin and the driver of the pickup, identified as Paul Rhinehart, were both taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Family members confirmed 28-year-old Caitlin V. Wilson, who suffered critical injuries in the crash, died Thursday.
