Pedestrian killed after being hit by vehicle in Topeka
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the man was picked up by the Topeka Police Department earlier along I-470 for walking on the interstate. Police took him to a location off the highway. About 40 minutes later, he appeared on I-470 again, this time in the lane of traffic and was struck.
