6-year-old killed in Riley County fatal accident
When officers arrived on the scene they were able to determine that the Ford Ranger had lost control and collided with a 2013 Chevy Cruze which was traveling in the same direction. The driver of the Chevy Cruze was uninjured and the damage to the vehicle was minor. Immediately following the initial impact the Ford Ranger left the roadway and collided with a tree. Thirty-nine-year-old Joshua Mall of Riley, Kansas was transported to Via Christi Hospital and then ultimately to a medical care facility in Topeka. Police say his current medical status at the is unknown at this time.
