Topeka woman injured in Monday crash on US-24 highway in Jefferson County

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Shaniqua D. Hazelton, 22, of Topeka, was driving a 2004 Nissan Maxima west on US-24 when she failed to negotiate a right-hand curve and lost control of the car, which overturned and landed on the west side of the roadway in a bean field.
