Two Dead in Highway 6 Crash

Still unknown as of Monday noon: what caused the crash and who was driving the car when it happened.

The crash happened sometime before 5 a.m. near 486th and Highway 6 near Atlantic, Iowa in Pottawattamie County when the car, which was eastbound, left the road and rolled several times, tearing through two fences before coming to rest. Both men were ejected from the vehicle. The victims were identified as Eric A. Poole of Atlantic and Nathan C. Poole of Omaha.
