Victim of fatal pedestrian-auto accident identified

Davenport police investigate a fatal pedestrian-SUV accident that occurred Wednesday on East River Drive at Tremont Avenue in Davenport. The victim was identified Thursday as a 74-year-old Davenport woman.

Davenport woman identified as pedestrian hit and killed on River Drive

A 74-year-old Davenport, Iowa woman was identified as the pedestrian killed in a morning wreck that happened on River Drive.

Fannie Mae Brown was attempting to cross East River Drive when she was struck by an SUV driven by Arthur Farranche. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, Farranche suffered minor injuries.
