Fatal accident on I-74 near Middle Road
One person is dead after an overnight car accident on I-74.
Police say a single vehicle went into the ditch on eastbound I-74 just before the Middle Road exit around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday morning. One person was transported to Genesis East Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
