2 people killed in Goshen accident

GOSHEN - Two people were killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash in the 1900 block of Lincolnway East, police said. The accident happened when a small passenger car struck the rear of a trailer that was being hauled on northbound Lincolnway East. The car flipped and slid on its rooftop along the highway for about 600 feet, according to Goshen police. The two occupants of the passenger car were pronounced dead at the scene. Goshen Police Department identifies victims of double fatal accident at Lincolnway East in Goshen

Police were dispatched to a crash in the 1900 block of Lincolnway East in Goshen at about 9:20 p.m. Dustin Moutria of Goshen, 26, and Waneta Rodes of Cromwell, 46, were both pronounced dead at the scene of a passenger car and flatbed trailer crash. The Goshen Police Department has identified the two victims of a fatal crash Wednesday night. The pickup driver and passenger were not injured in the crash, police say. The car came to rest in a grassy area along the road.
