MacKenzie Ruston, 17, and Reade Genzlinger, 61, killed in plane crash at Palisades Reservoir near Idaho Falls, Idaho

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a plane crash around 4:24 Monday afternoon. The crash happened near the Idaho and Wyoming border with Lincoln County and Palisades Reservoir. Emergency personnel located a small airplane with two occupants, both deceased and their bodies were recovered from the scene.

  A senior at East Chapel Hill High School died Monday when the plane she was in crashed near the Idaho-Wyoming border, officials said. KIDK-TV, a CBS affiliate in Idaho Falls, identified the pilot as Reade Genzlinger, 61, of Bryn Athens, Pa. The two were flying in a vintage Yak 52 Russian trainer aircraft and were flying with two other planes at the time, KIDK reported.

The Bouncing Bulldogs team uses older members to train the younger ones, and everyone is incredibly close, said Anna Reeb, who was Ruston's jumping partner. Mary Hunter Benton, a former Bouncing Bulldogs member, was in class at medical school when she learned of Ruston's death.
