1 woman dead, 1 man arrested in Waialua crash
A single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman in Waialua Saturday night.
It happened around 10:15 p.m.
Police said the man driving the white pick up truck Kahuku-bound was speeding on Waialua Beach Road. He lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center line and slammed into a mango tree at a home's yard.
Paramedics said the woman passenger wasn't wearing a seat belt. She was ejected and became pinned under the truck.

Bartlow was ranked 12th in the 2015 Stand Up World Series women's ranking, according to the Waterman League website. In her rookie year, she won the 2014 US SUP surfing tour.
