Victim identified in fatal motorcycle crash

Honolulu police officers and firefighters arrived on scene at about 1:05 p.m., but did not provide further details.

Kamehameha Hwy. in Kaaawa reopened after motorcycle crash

The crash was reported at 1:06 p.m. near 51-343 Kamehameha Highway between Kaaawa Beach Park and Kaaawa Elementary School.

Following a fatal motorcycle accident, the deceased motorcyclist has been identified as 29-year-old Raymundo Dela Carcel of Honolulu. Honolulu police are investigating a vehicle vs. motorcycle accident in Kaaawa on Friday, January 2. Authorities reporte that at approximately 1 p.m., a vehicle collided with the 30-year-old male motorcyclist, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
