Families and friends are grieving the loss of loved ones. Four people were killed, and one teen is fighting for his life after a head on collision in Thomson.

Barnes' 15-year-old son Kamaree Spencer, is the only survivor. He was airlifted to Georgia Regents Medical Center. He's listed in stable, but critical condition.
4 killed in east Ga. crash, 15-year-old boy survives wreck
Authorities say four people have died in a crash on an east Georgia highway and a 15-year-old boy was the only passenger to survive the wreck.
No toxicology tests to be administered in fatal McDuffie County wreck
GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang said the only time the lab performs autopsies on vehicle accident victims is when charges are pending. In this case, she said, both drivers were dead. Lang said the Atlanta lab doesn’t have a problem with back log and didn’t refuse the test.
The Georgia State Patrol has confirmed that four people were killed Sunday afternoon after a horrific traffic collision in McDuffie County. About 3 p.m., a black Lexus was heading eastbound on Augusta Highway at high speed when the driver crossed the center line and hit a white Toyota Highlander head-on near Moose Club Road. Four fatalities have been confirmed – three occupants of the Lexus, and the driver of the Highlander. The only survivor is a 15-year-old passenger in the Highlander, who was airlifted to Georgia Regents Medical Center with serious injuries.
