PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA. | Authorities say a vehicle fleeing police in suburban Atlanta collided with another vehicle, killing two occupants. Washington says the fleeing vehicle "failed to yield" to police late Thursday night and collided with a second vehicle as it approached an intersection on Peachtree Parkway. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were killed. Washington says the driver of the fleeing car faces DUI, drug charges and vehicular homicide charges. The passenger faces drug and gun charges.

In addition to charges in Georgia related to the fatal crash, the newspaper reported that the father and son were out on bond at the time related to drug charges in Greene County, Tennessee. The father and son have a court appearance scheduled in Gwinnett County for Feb. 4. It ended in Gwinnett County, just northeast of Atlanta, when Thomas crashed into the car of 77-year-old Kryzysztof Krawczynski and his 78-year-old wife, Elzbieta, of Norcross. Police say Larry Thomas was behind the wheel, and his son was his passenger, when he led police on a four mile chase.
