Driver who threw beer bottle after crash hit by car
According to a FHP report, Martello walked across the northbound lanes and threw a beer bottle at the driver. TRINITY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol says a motorist who left his car after a collision and threw a beer bottle at the other driver was struck and killed by another car. The FHP said the 68-year-old Martello was drunk when his car struck another vehicle just north of the intersection, and both vehicles stopped. The left side of the Chrysler then struck Martello. Martello then walked back toward his vehicle but failed to see a Chrysler driven by a 79-year-old woman.
