Man, daughter injured in State 77 crash
Brandon Warr, 23, was rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries afterward. Delina Warr, 22, and 11-month-old Ilia Warr, all of Chipley, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, FHP reported. Linda Dee Beauchamp, 54, faces a charge of violating their right-of-way after also being treated for minor injuries related to the wreck, officers said. Beauchamp, of Lynn Haven, was driving a 2010 Ford Explorer Sunday westbound and exiting Bozeman School. Beauchamp crossed northbound State 77 and stopped in the center paved median crossing, FHP reported. The Warrs, in a 2011 Hyundai Touring, traveled southbound in the inside lane on State 77 and approached the intersection of Crooked Lane, officers said. Beauchamp then entered the inside lane of State 77 directly into the path of the Warrs, causing the passenger side of the Explorer to collide with the front of the Touring. The Explorer came to final rest on its side facing east at the intersection. The Touring came to final rest facing west on the west shoulder of State. 77.
After an injury car accident, take these steps to help the recovery process
When someone has been injured in a car crash, it's hard to know what to do to help. Injured people need appropriate medial treatment, but they also need to have their civil and legal rights protected.
After a serious crash, several steps need to be taken, including dealing with the insurance companies, tracking and documenting lost income from missed work, coordinating medical bill payments, and handling an insurance claim.
