A car crash on County 2297 killed the driver and passenger in the predawn hours Wednesday.
Two Dead in Rollover Accident in Eastern Bay County
According to the report, a 2004 Corvette driven by Cara A. Sindt, 30, of Panama City failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway and entered the east shoulder. The car then began to rotate, and it’s front collided with a mailbox. The car overturned and collided with a wooden fence.
FHP Investigating a Double Fatality Crash on Sandy Creek Road
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a double fatality car crash on County Road 2297 by the Cook Bayou bridge. Officers say the vehicle went through a fence and overturned sometime after midnight on Wednesday.
Sometime around 6:00 a.m., Cara A. Sindt, 30, was northbound on County 2297, but failed to stay on the roadway during a left-hand turn and departed to the right. There the car hit a mailbox and began rolling, coming to rest after slamming into wooden fence. Both Sindt and her passenger Scott D. Cooper, 47, were pronounced dead.
