Woman killed in crash on S.R. 434 near Sand Lake Road

Deputies responded to the crash and found the woman, estimated to be between the ages of 50 and 60, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman had borrowed a bike from a teen, which initially caused confusion regarding her age.

Cheryl L. Bellaw borrowed her grandson's bicycle on Thursday afternoon and was crossing State Road 434 near Sand Lake Road when she went into the path of a Toyota Camry and was hit.
