FHP: 1 killed in crash involving semi on I-95

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2 a.m. on Interstate 95 near Palm Coast Parkway. The crash report states a Nissan Rogue was traveling northbound on I-95 in the inside lane. For unknown reasons, the Nissan slowed down and traveled from the inside lane to the outside lane into the path of the semi. A tractor-trailer was also traveling northbound on I-95 in the outside lane.

Passenger Micale Annilus, 40, of Houston, died at the scene. Driver Dagobert Laurent, 43, of Houston, and passenger Winderson Annilus, 21, of Key West, were seriously injured. The truck driver as not injured.
