29-year-old woman killed and 25-year-old man injured in single-vehicle car crash on Florida Turnpike in Osceola County, Florida

A woman is dead and a man was hurt in a crash on the Florida Turnpike, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The 29-year-old Hialeah woman was driving north on the Turnpike in her 2005 Nissan vehicle when for an unknown reason, she lost control of her vehicle, troopers said. Saturday on the Turnpike at mile marker 246 in Osceola County. FHP said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman and man were both wearing seat belts, according to FHP's report.
