Van full of minors crashes into tree - WEAR - ABC

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) - A van carrying several minors was involved in a nasty wreck Sunday morning.Emergency crews took eleven people to the hospital after the van crashed into a tree. The patients included nine minors and two adults. One of the adults was taken to the hospital via trauma alert.The crash happened on Pine Forest Road and Tillman Lane in Escambia County around 2:30 a.m.Florida Highway Patrol officers haven’t released any ages or the extent of the injuries. However, an Escambia County spokeswoman said a parent in a separate car asked emergency crews take all the children to the hospital.The cause of the crash is under investigation. There was also a pick-up truck at the scene of the crash but it is unclear if or how it is involved in the wreck.
