5-year-old seriously injured in collision - WEAR - ABC

(WEAR) - A 5-year-old was seriously injured in a collision Tuesday afternoon in Escambia County.Barbara Fariel, 35, who was driving a Ford Expedition, ran the stop sign at N 'S' Street and Yonge Street.Kenneth Griffin, 61, who was driving a Kia Spectra, collided with their vehicle at the intersection.Barbara received minor injuries. The 5-year-old in the vehicle, Swayze Rangel, received serious injuries and was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital.Kenneth was not injured during the crash.
