Gourgue, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to UF Health Jacksonville. Comer, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.
A Jacksonville motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition Wednesday after a car turned into his path on Normandy Boulevard. Jackson Gourgue, 34, was driving westbound when Loretta Comer pulled into his path and crashed into Gourgue.
