A Brunswick pilot was killed after a plane crashed around 1:20 p.m. on Saturday in a house near the Malcolm McKinnon Airport on Saint Simons Island. James Ronald Wood, 68, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Wood was the pilot and owner of the plane.
