Bus rolls over on Connecticut highway

State Police tell News 8 the Dahlia tour bus had about 55 passengers on board. The windshield has been removed by emergency responders to get passengers out of the bus. Injured people are being taken to Yale Trauma Center in New Haven. Hospital officials tell News 8 that they are expecting 30-40 people to be admitted, with six of them in critical condition.

As of 1:45 p.m., officials at the hospital say that none of the six critically injured people have arrived yet due to poor driving conditions.

They state four are in critical condition. They’ve had surgeries and the doctors say they’re not in grave danger.
