Comments

I was standing on 8th when the officer put his siren on for a second to pull over the car. He slowed down thinking the other car was going to pull over, and the other car sped off gaining speed at a very high rate down 8th. Then I lost sight of the car as he went over the overpass, and a second or two after that the accident happened. The officer is correct, as I watched this unfold, the officer put his brakes on about a block after he car sped off to I would say about half of the speed limit. So sad, prayers to the families.
