I haul heavy equipment in and around Commerce City. People for some reason ALWAYS assume that truck vs car accidents are the truck drivers fault. Have you even considered the REMOTE POSSIBILITY that cars more often than not are constantly trying to get around trucks, cutting off trucks and then jamming on their brakes??? I am always being tailgates, passed and flipped off and I take it with a grain of salt due to the IGNORANCE of almost all small vehicle drivers as to the physics of large trucks. We can't stop anywhere nearly as fast as a car. We positively cannot maneuver as tightly as a car. Most auto drivers are simply not well enough informed of these characteristics to warrant being allowed on the same roads as PROFESSIONALS! And we ARE professionals! And the majority of small vehicle drivers are uninformed, unable and unwilling to share the road with an industry that virtually supplies each and every one of us with EVERYTHING we need to live our lives the way we are accustomed to. So before you pass judgment on a truck driver for each and every accident you may see them involved in, just know this: 71% of ALL accidents involving a commercial vehicle and a car has been shown to be the fault of the automobile. This comes from the Federal Highway Administration's website!!!!!! So, PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
