Driver killed, passenger hurt after truck crashes into home

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office said a truck crashed into the bedroom of a home. No one was inside the room at the time.

A man died and a woman was seriously injured after crashing a vehicle into a Pueblo West home Tuesday night.

A blue tarp drapes across the left side of the home. Next to it, a part of the tan brick facade is ripped off; the remnants now lay on the ground, mixed in with scattered debris and chunks of wood. What used to be the front wall of the spare bedroom, is no longer there.

A man was killed and a woman was injured in a crash in Pueblo on Hahns Peak. The truck crashed into the bedroom of a home. The driver of the truck was killed, and a passenger was taken to the hospital. The Sheriff's Office believes the driver may have been drinking and speeding.
