Driver Crashes Into Primary Eyecare Optometrics in Castro Valley

Aisha Knowles said that the accident was reported at 7:11 a.m. at Primary Eyecare Optometrics at 2687 Castro Valley Blvd. A woman crashed her car into an optometry building in Castro Valley Friday morning and was taken to the hospital, an Alameda County fire spokeswoman said. The NBC Bay Area chopper flew overhead, showing the white car overturned on its roof partially inside the building near Interstate Highway 580. The company website announces that "We've Moved," to a "new larger facility" that houses state-of-the-art equipment. The website does not state when the move took place.
