Motorcyclist, Pedestrian Killed in SR-94 Crash Identified

CHP officials say both the motorcyclist and pedestrian were killed in the collisions. A motorcyclist and pedestrian both killed in a crash on the transition to eastbound State Route 94 from southbound Interstate 5 Thursday night have been identified, authorities confirmed. Just then, CHP officials say an 80-year-old man was driving a 2015 Scion XB southbound on I-5 onto the SR-94 transition. A 28-year-old motorcyclist -- identified as Wil Dean Mann -- was riding his 2003 Honda CBR southbound on I-5 Thursday, traveling onto SR-94 just before 10 p.m., California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers said. At the same time, a transient -- identified as Ronald Smith -- was walking across the transition road, CHP officers said.
