CHP says Grace Bacareza, said her husband, Nick Bacareza, and his two friends, Tony and Pete, were the three men in the pickup truck. The three men were in their 70s and went out to a casino together for the night.

Friday, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office officially identified the men as 74-year-old Nick Bacareza, 76-year-old Tony Kilayko and 81-year-old Pepito Rivera. All the men were from Stockton.

"It makes me very angry, for the senseless killing of lives," said Grace Bacareza, whose 74-year-old husband Nick Bacareza died in the crash. His two friends, 81-year-old Pepito Rivera and 76-year-old Tony Kilayko, also died.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a crash involving three vehicles took place at 2:24 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 50 at Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento. Officials say the driver of a Toyota Prius was eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway just prior to the accident. We'll update this story as details emerge.
