CHP: Sacramento driver killed in head-on crash
CLARKSBURG, Calif. (KCRA) —A Sacramento man was killed Tuesday morning in a head-on crash near Clarksburg, according to the California Highway Patrol. The 34-year-old man was driving a Honda about 7:30 a.m. on South River Road, south of Babel Slough Road at an unknown speed when his vehicle crossed over the double yellow center lines and into the northbound lanes of traffic, the CHP said.

John Her, 34, of Sacramento was driving his 2000 Honda Civic southbound south of Babel Slough Road when his vehicle crossed the double yellow center lines into the northbound traffic lane. The Honda struck the front end of a northbound 2003 Chevrolet pickup that was traveling about 45 mph, according to a CHP news release.
