Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In CitrusHeights

CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) ' Officers are investigating an accident that killed a pedestrian late Thursday night. Lanes of Auburn Boulevard were closed for most of the early morning hours. Right now, there's no word on the circumstances surrounding how this pedestrian was killed, but police say it does not appear that speed was a factor. The scene was on Auburn Boulevard near Whyte Avenue. Citrus Heights police say the accident happened just after 11p.m.
